Shrimp Okra Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. flour
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 peeled, chopped green pepper
    3 stalks celery
    1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    2 lb. Smothered Okra (see vegetable section)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    To Make Roux:
    Stir oil and flour in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat until brown.
