Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    oil
Preparation
    Heat oil to 375\u00b0.
    Mix flour, sugar, milk, vanilla and spices until well blended.
    Turn dough onto floured surface and knead about 10 minutes.
    Roll out to about 3/8-inch thick.
    Cut with a floured doughnut cutter.
    Drop into hot oil and fry until brown on both sides.
    Remove and drain.
    To coat, drop one at a time in a small paper bag containing powdered sugar and shake.
