Refrigerator Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    fresh cucumbers, sliced
    fresh onion slices
Preparation
    Heat first 6 ingredients until well dissolved; let cool.
    Add enough fresh cucumber slices and onions to make 7 cups.
    Mix thoroughly and put in clean sterilized jars.
    Place in refrigerator for 1 day and 1 night before eating.
    Store in refrigerator.
