Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
5 or 6 tart apples
Preparation

Mix and sift baking powder, flour and salt.
Add milk and well beaten egg; mix well.
Pare and core the apples.
Cut in sections and dip each piece of apple in the batter.
Fry in deep fat at 340\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 until brown.
Drain on unglazed paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
