Perfect Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    In small saucepan, combine water, sugar and cornstarch.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    Cool slightly.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in cornstarch mixture.
    Spread on filling. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
