Quick Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 (21 oz.) can cherry or blueberry pie filling
Preparation

Cream together the margarine and sugar.
Add eggs.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add the almond extract. Stir in the flour and baking powder; mix until smooth.
Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Spoon pie filling into the cake in 16 spots, spacing 4 spoonfuls evenly in each direction.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Place bottom side up on serving plate.
Dust with powdered sugar and spoon whipped cream over each serving.
This is great served warm.
