Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. grated cheese
    2/3 c. oil
    1 green bell pepper
    1 can creamed corn
    1/2 tsp. hot sauce
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add buttermilk and eggs; blend well.
    Stir in cheese, bell pepper, hot sauce, oil, corn and onion.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
