Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 lb. round steak
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 can tomatoes, pureed
1 Tbsp. onion flakes
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Mix flour and salt, then pound into steak with meat mallet. Brown on both sides in shortening.
Mix tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
Pour on beef.
Cook.
Cover and simmer 1 hour.
