Okra Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. small fresh okra pods
    salt
    1 head Boston lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    8 scallions with some top, minced
    vinaigrette dressing
Preparation
    Wash okra.
    Remove tops and tails.
    Pour water into medium saucepan.
    Add salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add okra to blanch. Drain.
    Refrigerate.
    Place lettuce in salad bowl.
    Add okra, scallions and vinaigrette.
    Toss.
