Cheesy Beef Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 (17 oz.) cream-style corn
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, drain well and set aside.
    Combine corn meal, salt and soda; mix well.
    Add milk, corn, eggs and oil; stir until well blended.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into well-greased preheated skillet; sprinkle with cheese, onion, pepper and ground beef.
    Top with remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
