Yankee Icebox Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chocolate wafers, finely rolled
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. whipping cream
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. drained shredded pineapple
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Beat eggs and add to sugar and butter.
    Whip the cream and add the pineapple and nuts.
    Divide rolled wafer crumbs into three parts.
    Spread one part into a buttered pan.
    Add the butter and sugar mixture over the top.
    Add and spread another 1/3 of the crumbs.
    Next, add the nuts and pineapple mixture.
    Over that, sprinkle the last layer of crumbs. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
