Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chicken or hamburger
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    3/4 tsp. basil
    3/4 tsp. marjoram
    1 bay leaf
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    4 c. cooked spaghetti
Preparation
    Brown ground chicken (or hamburger) with onion and drain excess fat.
    Set aside.
    Combine tomato paste and 1 cup hot water, then add tomato sauce.
    Add garlic, salt, sugar and all spices, stirring over medium heat.
    Then add browned meat/onion and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles and add grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serves an average family of 5.
