Mushroom Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
    1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    2 medium sliced onions
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. light cream
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Clean and slice mushrooms.
    Saute with onion in butter for 5 minutes.
    Add flour, stir and cook 2 minutes.
    Gradually stir in light cream, sherry, salt and pepper.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Add top crust.
    Slit to release steam.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until brown, about 25 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
    Excellent buffet dish.
