Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar; mix thoroughly.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix to first mixture; knead thoroughly.
    Roll out to approximately 1/4-inch thickness; cut out with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until lightly or golden brown.
    Freezes well.
