Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white Karo
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water, syrup and salt in saucepan until a drop in cold water forms a hard ball.
    Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites in a thin stream.
    Add vanilla and continue to beat until stiff. Fold in nuts.
    Pour in pan lined with wax paper.
    When set, cut in squares.
