Chocolate Almond Crunch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 serving size) pkg. jello chocolate pudding
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled
    2/3 c. blanched whole almonds
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Prepare pudding.
    Pour in shell and chill 4 hours (at least). Chop almonds coarsely and toast at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes. Combine butter and sugar in pan at low temperature, until butter is melted.
    Stir in nuts.
    Remove from heat and stir until cool. Sprinkle on pie.
    Garnish with whipped cream.
