Garlic Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 oz. Cheddar cheese, cut in chunks
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 1/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix dry ingredients in food processor. Add cheese and process until cheese is blended into dry ingredients (cheese will appear as flecks in the flour mixture). Place dry mixture in mixing bowl and add mixture of buttermilk and oil, mixing in buttermilk to moisten flour.
    Turn mixture onto floured surface.
    Pat out dough into 1-inch high oval and cut biscuits with biscuit cutter or glass.
    Place biscuits on well-greased 14 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 20 to 22 minutes at 425\u00b0.
