Scotch Tea Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In saucepan heat sugar and butter until butter melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in oats, baking powder and salt; mix well.
    Spoon into a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool; cut into bars.
