Caesar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 garlic clove, halved
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of ground pepper
    1 medium head romaine lettuce
    1 c. croutons
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 egg
Preparation
    About 1 hour before serving:
    In large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Cover bowl; let stand 50 minutes.
    Discard garlic.
