Esau'S Pottage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sauteed onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. lentils
Preparation
    Add rice to boiling, salted water; cover and let cook 15 minutes.
    Add onion, oil and lentils.
    Boil until lentils are tender.
    Should be consistency of mush.
    Garnish with parsley and sliced red bell peppers or pimiento.
    Serve hot.
