Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    4 jalapeno peppers, sliced
    8 oz. grated cheese
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. corn meal
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. oil
    1 (No. 2) can creamed corn
Preparation
    Brown meat, add onion, peppers and cheese.
    Mix together corn meal, eggs, buttermilk, salt, soda, oil and corn.
    Put 1/2 of meal mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour all of meat mixture over it.
    Spread rest of meal mixture on top.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
