Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 chicken, cut up (may use 4 chicken breasts), skinned and fat removed
    water
    2 celery stalks, sliced
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/8 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. thin egg noodles
    1/2 c. skim milk
    2 carrots, chopped (optional)
    1 c. canned green peas (optional)
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
Preparation
    In a Dutch oven or large saucepan, cover chicken with water. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes or until tender.
    Remove chicken.
    Reserve broth.
    Bone and shred chicken; set aside.
