Potato Filling Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes (fresh made or leftovers)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 small onion, diced
    4 slices bread (fresh or old)
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cube bread and onion and brown in margarine.
    Mix eggs with potatoes and seasonings.
    Combine with bread and onion.
    Spoon into greased casserole and pour milk over all.
    Bake 3/4 to 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
    You may also use 1/2 pound ground beef, turkey or chicken.
    May be browned with onions and bread cubes.
