Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Combine corn syrup, sugar and water; cook to soft-ball stage (236\u00b0).
    Remove from heat; add chocolate squares and stir until chocolate melts.
    Add vanilla.
    Slowly add evaporated milk; mix thoroughly.
    Cool.
    This should be heated over hot water for hot fudge sundaes.
    Makes 3 1/2 cups.
