Coconut Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. coconut
    1 stick margarine, melted
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    8 oz. Cool whip
    1 can cherry pie filling or any fruit pie filling
Preparation
    Crumble the first 4 ingredients together; spread on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to brown it.
    Stir often; it browns quickly. Cool.
    Press into an 8 x 12-inch glass pan, reserving small amount for topping.
    Mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip; spread over crumb crust.
    Top with pie filling and crumbs.
