Rhubarb Custard Pie - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. rhubarb
2 Tbsp. butter
3 egg yolks
1 3/8 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Line a 9-inch pie plate with unbaked pastry.
Spread rhubarb which has been cut in thin pieces, over pie crust.
Heat milk; add butter.
Beat egg yolks; add sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually pour hot milk into egg mixture.
Pour this custard over the rhubarb.
