Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. oil
    1/4 c. canned milk
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together the first 5 ingredients; add oil and mix as you would pie crust. Mix together the remaining ingredients and add to flour mixture. Divide dough in half. Roll between wax paper. Use large cookie sheet (18 x 12). Spread bottom layer with 2 cans of cherry pie filling. Roll top the same as bottom and put over cherry filling. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
