Butter Rich Almond Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 1/2 oz.) butter cake mix
1 egg
1/4 c. softened butter or margarine

Preparation

Grease bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Reserve 1 cup of dry cake mix for topping.
To remainder of mix, add softened butter and egg.
Blend and pat into bottom of pan.
