German Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    1 c. potato, cubed
    2 c. green beans, cut in 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 (15 oz.) can Great Northern beans
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. kielbasa sausage, sliced
Preparation
    Saut onion in 1 tablespoon bacon drippings. Add potatoes, carrots, green beans, parsley, sage, hot sauce and water. Bring to a boil; cover and
    simmer 20 minutes. Take off heat and add sausage, undrained Northern beans and bacon pieces.
