Aunt Louise'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk (1 tsp. vinegar with 1 c. milk; sit for 15 minutes)
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. unsweetened cocoa
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
Combine dry ingredients and add to bowl.
Mix cocoa with hot or boiling water until thick and add to batter.
Mix well.
Pour into Turk's head baking pan.
Bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Test with toothpick to be sure cake is done.
Let cake cool in pan; then remove from pan and ice cake.
