Frances Wright'S Angel Flake Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. hot water (tap)
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 sticks (3/8 lb.) butter
Preparation
    Add the dissolved yeast to the buttermilk, sugar and salt. Sift together the flour, soda and baking powder.
    Cut in the butter.
    Mix all together; do not knead.
    Refrigerate overnight, if possible.
    Pinch off amount needed.
    Knead, roll and cut into biscuits; don't let raise.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and cooked through.
    Can be refrigerated 4 to 5 days.
