Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. uncooked fettuccine noodles
    boiling salted water
    6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling salted water for 6 to 8 minutes. Place butter and cream in skillet over medium-low heat.
    Stir constantly until blended and mixture bubbles for 2 minutes.
    Stir in salt, pepper and nutmeg.
    Remove from heat.
    Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until thoroughly blended and fairly smooth.
    Pour sauce over noodles and serve immediately.
