Ingredients

2 cans beets, drained
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat vinegar, water, sugar and salt to a boil.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Add beets; simmer another 5 minutes.
Place in container all ingredients.
Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
