Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn (canned or fresh)
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. onion, grated
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. meat stock
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Grate or chop corn.
    Add boiling water and onion. Cook 15 minutes.
    Strain.
    Melt butter and stir in flour. Blend.
    Add stock and seasonings. Cook, stirring constantly 5 minutes. Stir in strained corn pulp and cook 10 minutes.
    Serve hot.
