Bohemian Kolaches(Buns) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 egg yolks
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk; cool.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Cream butter, sugar, salt and egg yolk together with mixer until light and fluffy.
    Add yeast, milk and 1 1/2 cups flour.
    Beat mixer at medium speed 5 minutes, scrape.
    Batter should be smooth.
    Stir in enough remaining flour, a little at a time, to make a soft dough that leaves the sides of bowl.
    Place in greased bowl, turn dough over to grease top.
    Cover, let rise until doubled, about 2 hours. Stir down; turn onto lightly floured board and divide into 24 balls.
    Cover and let rest 15 minutes.
    Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
    Press each piece to make a hole in center for filling.
    Fill each hollow with 1 level tablespoonful filling. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, 30 to 40 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Makes 24 Kolaches (buns).
