Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cooking oil
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. flour
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme
1/4 c. white wine
1 jar mushrooms
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 pt. (1 c.) sour cream
parsley
hot cooked noodles
Preparation

Trim excess fat from meat. Cut into 2 x 1/2-inch strips. Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt and paprika.
Coat meat with flour mixture.
In skillet, brown beef strips in cooking oil. Remove meat and set aside. Cook onion, garlic and mushrooms in skillet drippings until onion is tender but not brown.
Blend in the 2 tablespoons flour.
Add beef consomme, wine and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook and stir over medium-high heat.
Heat until bubbly. To remaining sauce in skillet, blend in sour cream and parsley. Return browned beef strips to skillet.
Heat through.
Do not boil. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Serves 4.
