Swedish Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can water
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    salt and pepper to taste
    cheese slices
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion.
    Drain.
    Add vegetables, soup, 1/2 can of water, salt, pepper and rice.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with cheese slices; return to oven and brown.
