Cornmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    In another bowl mix buttermilk, egg and melted butter.
    Pour in liquid ingredients over dry ingredients.
    Stir until moistened.
    Pour into greased cup.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, or until brown.
