Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, sliced (about 1 c.)
    1 green pepper, sliced (about 3/4 c.)
    1 lb. can (2 c.) tomatoes, broken up
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan cook meat, onion and peppers until meat is lightly browned and veggies are tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, sauce, beans, salt, chili powder and bay leaf.
    Cook on low for at least 6 hours.
    Makes 4 servings.
