Duchess Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter
2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
3 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
1/2 c. grated Swiss
1/2 c. Monterey Jack, grated
3 eggs
2 c. milk
paprika
Preparation

Melt butter and smear butter on sides and bottom of 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
Spread garlic evenly on bottom only.
Lay potato slices flat on bottom of pan.
Mix eggs and milk and pour over potato slices.
Mix grated cheeses together and sprinkle evenly over potatoes.
Sprinkle some paprika over top.
Cover with foil or casserole lid and bake for 50 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Uncover and brown tops of potatoes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
