Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    3 c. shredded carrots
    1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Blend 2 cups flour, soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Combine sugar, margarine and oil in bowl; beat thoroughly, after each addition.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with pineapple (beginning and ending with flour).
    Add 1/4 cup flour with nuts and carrots.
    Fold this in last.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Test to check if done.
    Cool cake and frost with frosting.
