Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
juice of 2 lemons
1 lemon rind, grated
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. sweet milk
4 Tbsp. melted butter
3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Beat egg whites; set aside.
Beat egg yolks and sugar together.
Add milk, lemon juice and rind, flour and butter.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into a 1-quart baking dish (greased).
Set in shallow pan of water and bake at 350\u00b0 until firm, approximately 30 minutes.
Has a firm cake on top and soft pudding in bottom.
