Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yeast cakes
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. scalded milk
    2/3 c. shortening, melted
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    10 to 12 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix together first 3 ingredients and let set.
    Scald milk and shortening together.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Add yeast mixture and rest of the ingredients.
    Work good; shape into rolls.
    Place in greased pan and grease tops of rolls and let rise, covered, in a warm place for 3 1/2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until tops are brown. Place on rack to cool, grease tops and cover.
