Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. unsifted flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    4 unbeaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
    6 apples, thinly sliced
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix flour, 2 1/2 cups sugar, oil, eggs, salt, orange juice, vanilla and baking powder.
    Set aside.
    Fold apples with 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    Alternate batter and apples.
    (Start with batter, end with apples.)
    Bake approximately 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Place shallow pan full of water below cake rack to keep cake moist.
