Creamy Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. oleo
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine milk and flour in saucepan and cook until thickened (bubbling).
    Place in refrigerator to cool for about 10 minutes. In a bowl, mix sugar, oleo, shortening and vanilla.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add the thickened milk and flour mixture.
    Beat until very smooth.
    Makes an excellent frosting.
    It can also be used as a filling for Whoopie Pies.
