My Mother'S Ice Cream Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. Crisco
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
walnuts

Preparation

Cream sugar and Crisco together.
Add egg.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet (about as big as a marble) and put well apart.
Top each cookie with a walnut meat in the center and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
