Nantucket Scallop And Cod Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    2 medium size onions, chopped
    2 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    1 (8 oz.) bottle clam broth
    1 c. cubed new potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 lb. sea scallops
    1/2 lb. cod fillet
    chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation
    Cut bacon crosswise into 1/4-inch strips.
    Heat 3 quart saucepan over medium heat.
    Add bacon; saute 4 minutes or until crispy.
    Remove with slotted spoon to drain on paper towel; discard fat from saucepan.
