Baked Peach Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced raw peaches
    3/4 c. plus 1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Place sliced peaches in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine 3/4 cup sugar and margarine.
    Add baking powder, flour and milk. Spread over peaches.
    Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt. Sprinkle mixture over batter in pan.
    Pour boiling water over all and bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Serve warm.
