Swiss Steak With Mozzarella Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef steak (round; 1/2-inch thick)
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/4 tsp. basil
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut meat into serving pieces.
Coat with flour.
In large skillet with cover, melt butter.
Brown meat slowly.
Add tomatoes, salt, basil and pepper.
Cover and simmer one hour.
Add onions and green pepper and cook 30 minutes longer.
Put in serving dish.
Top meat with cheese and heat until it melts.
