Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel ripe tomatoes
    4 green peppers, chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    8 small cans tomato paste
    1 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    3 lb. onions, chopped
    1 pt. cooking oil
    1/2 c. salt
    1 1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Core and cook 1/2 bushel tomatoes to get juice.
    Add green peppers, onion, garlic powder and cooking oil.
    Cook for 30 minutes.
    Add tomato paste, salt, basil, sugar and oregano. Simmer for about 2 hours.
    Fill jars with sauce and seal.
    Makes 12 or 13 quarts.
